Medical Assistant - Geriatrics Bowie, MD Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant - Geriatrics Must be Certified or Registered CPR required Experience rooming patients and obtaining vitals Comfortable responding to emails and messages and working nonclinical as well as clinical Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Administer immunization Experienced and proficient with EMR (MedConnect IDX a plus) Ability to obtain vitals and room patients Experience obtaining pre-authorizations Process labs and prescriptions Experience triaging patients Confident with clinical ability DUTIES: Duties will include but not be limited to the following: Rooming patients Obtaining vitals Administering injections Assisting with exams and procedures Triaging patients Processing Labs Assist physicians with exams and procedures Enter patient information into computer system-EMR Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
