Credence has an immediate need for a Cost Estimating Analyst at the principal level to support our Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is an intelligence enterprise system, comprised of active duty, Air National Guard (ANG), and mission partner sites, interconnected by a robust communications infrastructure spanning the globe.

The Cost Estimating Analyst shall perform the following kinds of functions: initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; consults with client to define needs or problems; supervises studies; and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Effective and timely customer communications and coordination of analysts' project activities. Includes front-end team organization, assistance in providing methodology and general project approaches/concepts, schedule and cost management of the project, technical reviews of in-process and completed products.
  • Requires excellent technical review capabilities and the ability to manage and allocate/prioritize resources for simultaneous activities or projects.
  • Use of the ACEIT Tool Suite to perform all POEs and analyses is mandatory for working in the PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB).
  • For this position, the Contractor shall comply with PWS para 3.4.1 and 3.4.2.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

A minimum of an active Secret security clearance is required.

Required Education:

  • A BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, plus three (3) semester hours of Calculus is required.

Required Experience:

  • Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes as a financial support analyst including UCA, MTA, MCA, SW Acquisition and Acquisition of Services including creating, collecting, and tracking data to report IAW fiscal and appropriation law and policy for PPBE.
  • Experience in weapon system acquisition cost analysis demonstrating progressively more responsible assignments is required including:
    • Ten (10) years of weapons system acquisition experience for personnel with a Master's degree, or
    • Twenty-five (25) years of weapon systems acquisition experience for personnel with a Bachelor's degree
    • At least seven (7) of these years must have been weapons system acquisition cost analysis experience demonstrating progressively more responsible assignments.

Recommended Professional Qualifications:

  • Financial Qualification:
    • Holds a DAWIA certification as a Certified Defense Acquisition Professional Business Financial Management functional area certification, or
    • Credentialed as Defense Business Systems for Financial Managers (CBFM 003) from DAU, or
    • Has taken DAU courses BFM 2270, CLE 077, BFM 2730, and CBFM 003.
