Overview Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support the documentation and communication needs of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN-N) Wireless Lifecycle Refresh and Expansion effort across six USMC installations. This role is vital in producing clear, accurate, and compliant technical documentation to support the delivery of wireless modernization services under the PEO Digital ISTC Program Office. The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and government stakeholders to develop and maintain a variety of documents, including engineering design packages, installation guides, system configuration records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and contract deliverables. This role ensures that all technical content is precise, user-friendly, and aligned with contract requirements and cybersecurity standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in technical writing best practices, and capable of translating complex technical information into understandable, actionable documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree in relevant technical or communications field with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information. It is highly desired that the Technical Writer has an understanding and experience of telecommunications, networking, voice and data, structured cabling projects, and IT systems. The following experience is required:
Military Installation Access: This position may require access to military installations. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check. Clearance: This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
