The Customer Experience team is committed to delivering a seamless and impactful experience that empowers customers to access clean energy solutions, financial relief, and essential services with ease. The Energy Insight Platform is at the heart of this effort-powering enrollment, incentives, and engagement for Climate and Clean Energy Programs, as well as financial assistance for our most vulnerable customers and disadvantaged communities.

We are seeking a Supervisor to lead a team of high-performing Product Owners in delivering customer-centric solutions through Scaled Agile best practices. This is a pivotal time for the platform as we align with the Value Management Office, driving efficiency, customer value, and faster time-to-market. The role offers cross-functional exposure across low-income programs, clean energy and clean transportation initiatives, and large enterprise energy solutions, making it an exceptional leadership development opportunity.

Position Summary:

The Supervisor, Energy Insight Platform will provide strategic leadership in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Leading a team of 4+ Product Owners, this role will oversee the development and execution of initiatives that enhance programs, streamline operations, and enable high stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate is a leader with a passion for customer-driven innovation, Scaled Agile methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration. This role offers the chance to shape the delivery of high-impact programs that advance PG&E's clean energy goals while also delivering financial relief and incentives to customers in need.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and either our San Ramon or Oakland office, approximately once per month, or more, based on business needs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $114,000.00
Bay Area Maximum: $182,000.00

OR

California Minimum: $108,000.00

California Maximum: $173,000.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 4+ Product Owners delivering the Salesforce Energy Insight Platform through Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Drive the execution of platform enhancements that support clean energy programs, customer financial relief, and business energy solutions.
  • Align with the Value Management Office to implement best practices for delivering customer value, streamlining processes, and accelerating time to market.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple business units, including low-income assistance programs, clean energy initiatives, and PG&E's enterprise energy solutions.
  • Monitor platform performance, track key metrics, and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent the platform in executive-level discussions, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory engagements to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, oversee project milestones, and ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, CPUC, FERC, and GAAP regulations while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 5 years

Desired:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in program management, product ownership, customer experience, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Agile / SAFe experience with a track record of delivering customer-focused solutions.
