Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Copywriter to join our marketing team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy for various marketing channels and campaigns. You will work to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality-driven, and aligns with our company's messaging, tone and voice, and company goals. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of creating impactful copy, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do as a Copywriter:

  • Conceptualize and develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, emails, social media, corporate collateral, and other channels.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, Integrated Marketing, Website team, and other teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand voice and tone adherence.
  • Understand and follow AP Style Guides for copy consistency and adherence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing. Knowledge of the IT technology industry is a bonus.
  • Conduct research and interviews to understand customer needs and market trends.
  • Follow an established content calendar to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Follow an established copy standards playbook to adhere to content consistency.
  • Coordination tasks with agencies/vendors for candidate submissions, interview set up and obtaining feedback.
What you will bring to the team:
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Copywriter in B2B technology companies, IT/AV distribution or reseller preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to various tones, voices, and platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization.
  • Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across sales, marketing and external vendors and associates.
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $65,000 - $70,000
