Description
The Customer Service Agent's primary responsibilities is to ensure customer needs are resolved favorably for the customer in a timely manner and that all associated computer and paperwork are tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsible for greeting and assisting customers with shipping, receiving or locating their freight either over-the-counter or on the telephone. Responsible for processing Takeflite sales tasks and sales documents on a daily basis. Responsible for computer database flight operations tasks and flight documents. Responsible for ground service contracts customer service and paperwork. Maintains office and customer service areas ensuring they are clean and neat. Other duties as assigned. Competencies: Must have proven customer service skills. Must have excellent communication skills. Ability to take directions and be flexible. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Excellent computer skills required. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have general office skills. High school graduate or equivalent. Prior applicable experience preferred. This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing up to 8 - 10 hours a day. Requires frequent and routine lifting or moving items weighing over 70 pounds. For Anchorage, Nome, Kotzebue and Bethel Stations - Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging.
