Description
Strategically manage the organizations employee benefit plans. Responsible for evaluating plans, using industry trends and market data to provide recommendations according to financial budgets and to maintain the company's competitive advantage. Develops safeguards for ensuring audits, legal reports and compliance guidelines are followed. This is a full-time position working M-F from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm out of our Corporate Office in Bloomington. This is a hybrid role. Revo Health is a professional services company that partners with multiple healthcare groups to deliver exceptional patient care. This position will be employed through Revo Health, working closely with Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) and its operating divisions.
Essential Functions:
- Design and administer employee benefits programs including retirement, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, time off and ancillary offerings
- Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with industry and market-place trends through participating in surveys, analyzing the data and working with broker
- Act as the liaison for all insurance carriers, plan administrators and third-party administrators by responding to requests and changes
- Manage the annual benefit renewal process by partnering with third-party administrator and/or Benefit Broker to drive the renewal process, analyze data and prepare recommendation for the board
- Manage, mentor and provide daily direction to the Benefits and Leave team to include:
- Leave of absence process ensuring company compliance and educational opportunities for employees and managers
- Training and communications to all employees regarding insurance plan updates, appropriate use of benefits, specifically regarding medical plan performance
- Monitor ACA monthly compliance reports to ensure benefits are offered to eligible employees
- Audit strategies to ensure compliance
- New physician onboarding
- Benefit plan presentations for new hires and during the annual open enrollment process
- Ensure Leaders understand how the medical plan is performing on a periodic basis and provide recommendation based upon analysis
- Attend Investment Committee meetings and provide thoughtful input where appropriate
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related area
- 7+ years of previous experience in development, implementation and execution of benefit design, including health and welfare, retirement, and paid time off plans
- 3+ years of management experience
- HR or benefit certification preferred
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Solid knowledge and understanding of all legal, tax and regulatory issues related to benefits
- Excellent oral and written communication, time management, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a role with frequent interruptions and time-sensitive deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
