This role involves managing a team of in-house publishing editors with commissioning targets, engaging with external editors and editorial board members, and delivering on portfolio budgets and performance targets. The role also includes contributing to the overall success of the Springer Journals publishing unit by nurturing a team and creating an environment that attracts top authors. Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Team Management, Editorial and Publishing Development, External Engagement, Strategy and Policy Implementation and Contribution to Springer Journals Division. US Annualized Base Salary Range: $120,000 - 135,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level and equity. The US salary range does not align with the salary ranges in other countries when converted to the currency of that country.
