Reports to: Conservation Engagement & Volunteer Program Manager
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Schedule: 16-24 hours/week

Position Summary: The Volunteer Program Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a thriving and engaged volunteer community at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. This position supports the zoo's mission by ensuring a seamless volunteer experience from recruitment to recognition, enabling volunteers to contribute meaningfully to zoo operations and conservation goals.
The coordinator will manage processes that ensure volunteers feel appreciated, supported, and connected to the zoo's purpose. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with volunteers and staff.

Working Conditions: The Volunteer Program Coordinator will work in both office and zoo environments, requiring the ability to move across zoo grounds, engage with volunteers and staff, and attend occasional evening or weekend events. |
