About the Role:

Woodside Energy is aiming to build a global LNG portfolio by diversifying from their Asia Pacific trading and operations and setting up an LNG business on the Atlantic basin. The Company completed its acquisition of the US Gulf Coast Driftwood LNG development in December 2024. The project has been under construction, under contract with Bechtel, since 2022 and is set for FID readiness for Phase 1 by Q1 2025. The new business, renamed Woodside Louisiana LNG, will be operated and majority owned by Woodside Energy, and will be one of the largest LNG projects in North America.

The LALNG Gas Procurement Team will create, deliver, implement, operationalize and execute the gas procurement strategy needed to deliver Louisiana LNG's gas requirements. This includes the procurement of gas, transportation and storage positions required for the asset, and for the management of the relevant regulatory, governance, systems and operational aspects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and executing the gas procurement strategy to supply long-term, reliable, low-cost feed gas to Louisiana LNG.

* Originate and negotiate agreements for short term and long-term natural gas supply, transportation, and storage capacity.

* Develop strategies to optimize the value of the Louisiana LNG gas transportation and storage assets.

* Provide market intelligence and overall support for regional and strategic market analysis.

* Coordinate with key internal stakeholders, including Regulatory, Commercial, Operations, Legal, and Business Development to progress concepts and initiatives to executed definitive agreements.

* Support with Pipeline and LNG Plant Operations to optimize the gas supply to LNG value chain.

* Support business development efforts and growth opportunities within the broader Woodside Marketing and Commercial and New Energies asset portfolios.

* Establish and maintain relationships with various counterparties, gas suppliers, pipeline companies and storage operators.

* Represent Louisiana LNG at customer meetings and relevant industry events.

Skills & Experience:

Experience: 10+ years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: strategic planning, market analysis, new business development, deal structuring, contract negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
