Job Title: Airfreight Manager

Job Location: Miami, Florida

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Airfreight Manager to lead and manage customer accounts' daily operations at our Miami location. If you are a strategic thinker with a strong background in airfreight operations and a passion for team development, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of 15+ professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Serve as a key member of the Station Senior Management Team (SMT).
  • Manage and drive the performance of airfreight operations teams, including imports and exports.
  • Define, implement, and execute the airfreight strategy for the Miami station.
  • Act as the Profit and Loss (PNL) owner for airfreight operations, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and internal rates to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • Identify and implement business development opportunities within the Miami scope.
  • Translate strategic requirements into actionable plans, ensuring effective execution and monitoring.
  • Set, communicate, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous operational improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers to enhance service delivery.
  • Direct and control all pricing activities related to airfreight operations.
  • Supervise the identification and implementation of new airfreight products within the station.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to support interactions with key customers and ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide input on solution design and service elements to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Ensure efficient communication and information exchange with regional airfreight management.
  • Set and monitor objectives focused on maximizing profitability and driving volume growth.

Skills / Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the airfreight forwarding business.
  • CargoWise experience preferred.
  • 3-5+ yrs. of leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in a people management role, showcasing strong leadership, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to make well-informed decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on service excellence.

Pay Range: $93,142.50 - $124,190.00+ (Based on Experience)
