USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Solutions Director to join our team. This position will be located in our Cranbury, NJ location.

Pay Range: 150k + Depending on experience

Function:

The Solutions Director will manage the Solutions team and support and sell a variety of value-added services offered by U.S. Electrical. They will work with the leadership team to prioritize strategic opportunities to drive growth, including value-added service offerings, system functionality, product mix, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote USESI electronic capabilities, products, processes, differentiators and value-added services.
  • Support customers and employees with use of solutions.
  • Make sales calls demonstrating value-added services, processes and differentiators.
  • Utilize analytics and customer interviews to identify areas of improvement, make recommendations to resolve issues and to improve our solutions.
  • Build financially justified business cases for potential projects.
  • Develop KPIs, monitor performance, assure objectives are met and hold team accountable.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities, initiate contact, and deliver presentations to decision makers.
  • Establish & nurture relationships with key customers.
  • Participate in trade shows and counter days. Participate in industry organizations to gain insight into customer needs.
  • Train branch personnel, provide ongoing coaching and go on joint sales calls.
  • Work with branch personnel to ensure an omni-channel experience for our customers and work with leadership team to remove any roadblocks causing channel conflict.
  • Support a selection of products, mainly connected IOT (Internet of Things) devices.
  • Travel to company, customer and supplier locations to provide support as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical wholesale or similar industry.
  • Previous experience in sales or as an electrical contractor is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university in a relevant field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects required.
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills with solid technical acumen.
  • Fundamental understanding of business financials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Stellar presentation skills are a must.
