Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer

STS Engineering Solutions is hiring a Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer in San Antonio, Texas. If you're a structural expert with experience supporting Boeing aircraft and a passion for resolving complex engineering challenges, we want to hear from you.

As an MRB Engineer, you'll evaluate nonconforming conditions on Boeing aircraft products, determine repairability and compliance, and drive timely MRB certification. This position also offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

• Evaluate and document production non-conformances in accordance with MRB procedures
  
• Analyze structural issues and determine corrective actions for metallic and composite components
  
• Provide engineering dispositions that comply with customer and FAA requirements
  
• Use systems-thinking to enhance aircraft producibility and streamline repair solutions
  
• Identify root causes of structural non-conformances and recommend long-term solutions
  
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timely resolutions and support project milestones
  
• Contribute to cost savings, production timelines, and performance improvements
  
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
  

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  
• Experience supporting fixed-wing aircraft programs
  
• Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures, materials, and manufacturing processes
  
• Proficiency with Boeing stress tools, CATIA, ENOVIA, and IVT
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
  

• Direct MRB engineering experience on Boeing aircraft platforms
  
• Active or recent MRB Delegated Authority from Boeing (within the last two years)
