Gundersen Health System is seeking a Home Health Aide (CNA) for our Hospice department.

What you will do:
  • 0.7 FTE (56 hours/every two weeks)
  • 8-hour shifts, mainly days with some PMs
  • Every 5th weekend and 2 holidays/year
  • Provide compassionate care to families and patients thru end-of-life transitions within a 50-mile radius of La Crosse, WI
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, social workers, chaplains, bereavement coordinators and hospice aides
What you need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Completion of a Home Health Aide/CNA program that meets state and federal requirements for placement on the WI and MN State Home Health Aide Registry
  • Minimum of 1 year CNA experience in acute care, nursing home, or home health agency
  • WI and MN Registered Certified Nursing Assistant upon hire
  • BLS CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
