Schedule: 7:00am - 11:00am, part time, 20 hours per week

Pay rate: $28 - $35/hr.

Maintenance Technician essential tasks:



  • Follow all safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Independently maintain, troubleshoot, and perform significant repairs on facility equipment.
  • Inspect and evaluate equipment performance, including speeds, pressures, and wear on components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose issues with HVAC, fire safety, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair CRAC systems, transformers, motors, and MCC panels.
  • Repair and maintain dock equipment, building lighting, emergency lights, and electrical outlets.
  • Conduct repairs such as rebuilding pumps, fixing leaks, replacing sinks, and maintaining electrical controls.
  • Handle administrative tasks like ordering parts, creating POs, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Document work in CMMS, analyze results, and recommend preventive maintenance updates.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers and manage maintenance projects as needed.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; preference for candidates with business or trade school training.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, fork truck operator's license, and JLG operator's license.
  • Strong ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures in various formats.
  • Proficient in MS Word, email management, work order systems, and maintenance software like Building Automation.
