Requisition 38462: Charlotte Electrician Electrician: Duties include wiring electrical power and control systems, and laying-out, assembling, wiring, and installing electrical boxes and panels on railroad maintenance machinery. Journeyman electricians must be able to read electrical wiring schematics, be familiar with repair shop equipment and tools, and have at least 3 years' experience doing electrical work applied to buildings, machinery, and heavy equipment. An associate degree in electrical or computer engineer, an Electricians license, and experience with PLCs and advanced control systems will be helpful. Journeyman status is preferred but will consider those with less experience to fill student Electrician positions. Work Environment
