JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Editor is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of training deliverables created by the Learning Solutions team. The editor will review and edit any requested deliverables for grammar, spelling, clarity and effectiveness of writing (including fact checking), and visual consistency. As requested, they will also edit marketing documents, proposals, capabilities overviews, and any other internal materials. The editor will collaborate closely with the quality assurance manager and contract editors as well as the internal project teams to ensure high deliverable quality is maintained and deadlines are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate with project managers and COE leads to ensure quality assurance process is followed throughout individual project
  • Edit requested deliverables for grammar, clarity, appearance, logic, and overall structure
  • Flag major quality issues within deliverables to project managers
  • Edit proposals, marketing materials, and internal materials as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in professional writing and/or editing in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent copyediting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint skills, including experience with masters, leader's notes, and formatting
  • Excellent MS Word skills, including experience with track changes and formatting
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • Project management skills (e.g., good at establishing clear directions, effective communicator, problem-solver, adaptable communication style, organized, understands job responsibilities of others and functions appropriately)
  • Comfortable working under pressure
  • Able to flex plans accordingly to handle project requests

Preferred Skills

  • Experience writing or editing training materials
  • Experience writing or editing for pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Experience editing e-modules

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $69,568 to $82,733. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
