Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Annex Utility Manager to work on our Annex Utility team. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our SMC facility with every Friday off. You will report to the Department Manager. The SMC Annex and Utilities Manager will be responsible for authorizing and monitoring work performed at SMC facility. Qualify as a Nuclear Facility Manager. You should have working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, boiler operations and utility system management. Responsibilities Include:
- Working knowledge of production scheduling and schedule risk mitigation.
- Support compliance with programs such as ISMS, Contractor Assurance Program, Quality Assurance Program, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance.
- Manages work by providing guidance and direction to other staff and coordination between multiple organizations within and outside of SMC.
- Understands strategic importance of collaboration between Operations, Engineering and Maintenance organizations and able to provide the ability to prioritize, recognize critical path items and resource conflicts.
- Provides technical input for Research and Development activities and executes to completion.
- Responsible for all aspects of human capital; performance reviews, positive recognition and all disciplinary actions for the direct reports and technicians.
- Implement strategy as defined by the SMC Operations Manager.
- Oversee operation activities to ensure the facility is operated safely and in full compliance with all laboratory requirements, federal and state regulations, orders, and permits.
- Accountable for asset management and budgeting to ensure facility, equipment, and operating procedures are adequate and ready to carry out the SMC mission.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with four or more years relevant experience in an operations facility or 10 years relevant experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information:
- The target pay range for this position is ($100,540 - $155,973) annually. The full pay range is ($89,652 - $215,160). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
