MU TITLE: Temporary Professional LOCATION: 1400 Rock Quarry Road, Columbia, MO The University of Missouri (MU) Office of Extension and Engagement's distinct land-grant mission is to improve lives, communities, and economies by producing relevant, reliable, and responsive educational strategies throughout Missouri. The MU Extension Integrated Marketing Communications Team uses cutting-edge storytelling strategies to elevate the visibility and impact of MU Extension's programs across Missouri. Through strategic branding, digital marketing, multimedia production, and media outreach, the team connects communities with the knowledge and resources Extension provides. By leveraging innovative content creation, data-driven insights, and emerging media trends, the team ensures MU Extension's stories resonate with the people it serves, driving engagement and expanding the division's reach. The temporary Multimedia Storyteller position will play a vital role in shaping and executing our multimedia content strategy. The person will be responsible for producing compelling video stories that resonate with our target audience across multiple platforms, including the MU Extension website and social media channels. This role requires a creative, strategic thinker with a journalist's skillset and the ability to think like a marketer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (20 hours a week) for 4-5 months Ability to travel and to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, is required to fulfill assigned responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
