What Your Job Will Be Like: We are seeking a dedicated Information Systems Engineering Project Manager with a strong emphasis on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) to lead the development and implementation of robust BC/DR strategies for our technical information systems. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in BC/DR principles to ensure the resilience and reliability of our information systems throughout their lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create, maintain, and test comprehensive recovery plans that align with organizational objectives, ensuring operational continuity during disruptive events. Salary Range: $99,400 - $193,600 *Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential. Qualifications We Require:

About Our Team: The primary mission of Enterprise Continuity and Operations Management (ECOM) is to ensure continuity and operational excellence across IT services. We achieve this by developing and maintaining a comprehensive, end-to-end view of operational IT services. Utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and best-practice ITIL processes, we drive continuous improvements in IT Service Management. Our portfolio encompasses performance and availability monitoring, event management practices, and password management to safeguard access and maintain system integrity. By leveraging these tools and best practices, the ECOM application developers can create a comprehensive monitoring system that ensures the health and performance of Sandia IT infrastructure. We also oversee problem management to proactively identify and resolve issues, thereby minimizing disruptions and enhancing service reliability. Additionally, we manage change enablement to ensure that all modifications to the IT environment are systematically handled and implemented with minimal disruption. Furthermore, we facilitate business continuity and disaster recovery to ensure that IT services remain stable and dependable under all circumstances. Through these capabilities, we facilitate, secure, and stabilize the flow of information that drives Sandia's mission, aligning with the overarching goals of Support Center 9700. Security Clearance: Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance to start, or equivalent active security clearance with another U.S. government agency (e.g., DOD). Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Applicants for employment need to be able to maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. If you hold more than one citizenship (i.e., of the U.S. and another country), your ability to obtain a security clearance may be impacted.
