As a Scientist in the Molecular Diagnostics Assay Development Team, you will support the development of molecular assays using cutting-edge PCR and dPCR technologies. You will be planning and executing molecular biology experiments, performing data analysis and documenting findings. You will effectively communicate technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your adaptability, quick learning, and troubleshooting skills will be essential to overcome technical challenges as they arise. This role offers a stimulating blend of technical expertise, collaborative teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of molecular diagnostics for applications such as reproductive health and infectious diseases.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Advance the development of innovative molecular diagnostics assays that will ultimately benefit patients by designing, executing and analysing complex experimental studies.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative solutions by collaborating with others and engaging in problem solving / troubleshooting efforts.
  • Support the development of sustainable lab processes by participating in initiatives such as 5S and My Green Lab.
  • Drive scientific excellence by following good laboratory practices ensuring the integrity and safety of our work which is essential for a successful execution of our projects.

What You Bring:



  • Education: 6+ years of experience and a B.S. in molecular biology or related life science field OR 4+ years of experience and a M.S in a related field.
  • Work Experience: Direct experience with nucleic acid technology relating to PCR, qPCR, and/or digital PCR.
  • Experience with statistical analysis programs such as JMP or MiniTab.
  • Skilled at writing clear plans, reports and SOPs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, logical and analytical thinking, ability to multitask, work independently and on a team, and the ability to learn, troubleshoot, and problem solve are essential.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $94,100 to $129,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
