Cover Preparation - Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform routine duties under general supervision to provide administrative support in preparation of endsheets. Perform other similar or related duties as directed.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Essential Functions

1. Receivematerials and verify all needed materials are included, and notify customer service representatives or customer of discrepancies.
2. Review specification form to determine if job is capable of being produced and to look for conflicting information.
3. Enterinformation into computer to prepare cover orders and tickets utilizing information received from customer.
4. Serve as primary information source for the Sales Reps, CSR's on endsheets and production.
5. Process proof corrections received from customer, routing to appropriate section.
6. Maintain files includingfile folders,dies, artwork, proofs and correspondence.

Marginal Functions

Clean and maintain workspace and equipment.
