INVISTA's Economics & Planning Capability is currently seeking an Economics & Planning Manager for our site in Seaford, Delaware. This leadership role will be part of our Downstream Nylon business, which is the leading global manufacturer of Nylon 6,6 staple fiber. This role will report through the E&P Capability and be a member of Seaford Site Leadership Team. Candidate must be in Seaford, DE or Kennesaw, GA. If you are based in Kennesaw, GA, are you prepared to travel to the Seaford, DE site up to 25% of the time to cultivate strong working relationships with site leaders. What You Will Do * Foster team collaboration resulting in improved strategic alignment between site leaders, commercial leaders, and leveraged capabilities, primarily via: * Lead Seaford's core team to ensure different departments work together effectively and align their efforts with company goals. * Lead development of Seaford's 5-year strategic plan. * Align organizational goals and strategies by connecting on-site & off-site leaders to vision, key strategies, value creation opportunities, and key economic drivers of our business, to enhance business performance by motivating leaders and aligning their efforts with areas where we have a competitive advantage. * Build capability of Seaford's Core Team by using important decision-making tools and strategic resources from Koch. Utilize these resources to effectively support Seaford's growth and transformation efforts. * Manage the strategic investment process for opportunities affecting Seaford by: * Manage portfolio of ideas and screening efforts. Drive continuous improvement of the screening process. * Participate in assessing potential investment opportunities and take the lead role when there is a distinct advantage. * Maintain open communication and actively seek early feedback from stakeholders to ensure alignment and maximize value throughout all phases of projects, from initial idea to full funding. * Develop knowledge of Seaford Production Planning and Operational Efficiency by: * Provide support as required for Seaford Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) process. * Represent the site during Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) collaboration by tracking and improving metrics such as saleable yield, production pounds to flake consumed, spinning machine asset availability, and inventory variances. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 5+ years of experience in leadership roles related to plant operations, commercial activities, business development, planning, and/or finance within process manufacturing industries such as fibers, polymers, or chemicals * Experience using economic models to inform complex decisions, including investment choices and optimizing production and sales strategies * This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship What Will Put You Ahead * Experience in drafting executive-level reports and presentations and ability to lead leadership-level business meetings * Experience supervising, mentoring, and/or teaching others * Experience working with SAP APO/ECC modules At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
