.NET Developer

Job Description



  • The developers shall implement and support new PTDR WEB and NAVFIT98 technical upgrades and user change requests including support for upgrades to newer versions of Microsoft Visual Studio
  • The system's software includes Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 using VB.NET and C#, HTML, Java, JavaScript along with connections to Microsoft Office products and SQL Server.



Position Requirements:



  • Six (6) years of experience, to include: Requirements identification, Software Design, Development, and Test and Evaluation
  • Four (4) years of programming experience with "Specific Project" programming languages
  • Three (3) years of experience, to include: Database development, Web page design, and Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment tools, asp.net, SQL Server, and HTML development. Note: Experience may be concurrent
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Have Completed or can complete the following certifications within one and a half years after assuming duties: Security Plus
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • US Citizen



Nice to Have:



  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and Powershell for use in development, data analysis, documentation and status reporting tasks
  • Ability to work closely with customers to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Any of the following Certifications: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other)
