The Department of Family & Social Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Supervisorto support its programs such as Wound Care and Palliative Care. This role is responsible for general oversight of the daily operations within these programs and will work in both clinical and administrative settings. TheAdministrative Supervisorwill also provide administrative support to other programs within the department as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication and follow-up skills. Responsibilities, include but not limited to: Ensuring smooth operations through the maintenance of workflows and administrative processes Efficiently and effectively addressing issues which may impede administrative or clinical operations Identify areas for program improvement and implement solutions under the guidance of departmental leadership Oversight of program schedules and management of director calendars Oversight of revenue cycle and other activities for wound clinic including prior-authorizations, copay collections, supply ordering Resolving EPICrelated issues and generating EPIC reports Ensuring Fellowship Program administrative processes are completed and meet deadlines Support event planning for program retreats, graduation, and presentations Requirements Associates degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred Threeyears administrative experience in a healthcare settingrequired Proficiency in MS Office Products, ability to create professional powerpoint presentations and spreadsheets in excel Excellent organization and communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize independently Professional writing and communication skills EPIC experience preferred Department: Family Medicine Bargaining Unit:Non UnionCampus:MOSES Employment Status:Regular Full-TimeAddress:3544 Jerome Avenue, Bronx For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayedrate is the hiringrate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
