Our Fitness Floor staff helpmembers and program participants achieve their fitness goalsby providing a welcoming fitness environment and offering assistance as needed.This is a particularly exciting time to join our team as we have opened a state of the artfacility at theGlen T. MacLeodYMCA in Gloucester! On a regular day, you will greet members and visitorsentering the fitness center,maintain the cleanliness and functioning of equipment, perform exercise demonstrations and machine overviews, and inform members ofadditional program and workout options. You will also be responsible for providing prospective member tours and answer questions about programs and the fitness facility.Fitness Floor Staffprovide high-quality orientations and encourage program involvement to engage members in a deep involvement and commitment to the Y.

To thrive in this position youhave a working knowledge of fitness programs and exercises. You are able to connect with a diverse group of people of varying abilities,encouragemembers and participants, and accentuatingthe positive.This is the ideal role for those interested in fitness, exercise science, personal training, or customer service.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must maintain CPR, and First Aid certifications
• We are looking for Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 1pm to 9pm
