Key Responsibilities:

Front-End Skills:

• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript:

  • Utilize fundamental front-end technologies for development. Come up with more lightweight, user-friendly, interactive UI concepts which are faster to render and quick to adapt.

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Work with Angular to create interactive UIs.

• Version Control:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in any platforms like GitHub, BitBucket for version control.

• Responsive Design:

  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure adaptability across various screen sizes.

Back-End Skills:

• Core Java Proficiency:

  • Exhibit a strong command of the Java language including object-oriented programming concepts.

• Frameworks and Technologies:

  • Familiarity with popular Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, and Spring MVC for developing scalable applications.

• Testing and Code Quality:

  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code; utilize Security Testing tools like CheckMarx and code quality tools like SonarQube.

• Database Management:

  • Efficiently handle data using Oracle Database; leverage Hibernate for database interactions.

• Security:

  • Must at least understand web security basics like authentication and authorization, system logging and monitoring, and protection against code injection attacks.

  • Experience in application security, with a strong focus on SCA, SAST, and DAST.

  • Experience with security testing tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Burp Suite

• Deployment and Scalability:

  • Familiarity with CICD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment processes.

• System Design and Architecture:

  • Design resilient systems while incorporating software architecture patterns like microservices.

• RESTful APIs:

  • Develop and maintain APIs efficiently.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

• Typically requires one (1) or more years of programming experience.

• Requires working knowledge in one programming language or technology.

• Basic programming skills in at least one modern language

• Understanding of relational database design and theory

• Understanding of typical use cases and benefits for typical design approaches such as client/server, SOA, etc.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Design concepts

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Jira: Project management and issue tracking tool.

• Experience with XSLT or any data mapping tools.

• A Big-Picture Understanding of Development

• Ability to Adapt Quickly

• Problem-Solving and Communication

Bonus Skills (Plus):

• Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Business Process Modeling is good to have.

• Knowledge of Axway and IBM middleware, integration products is an advantage.
