Join our dynamic team as an ISD Analyst/Courseware Developer in Colorado Springs, CO, where your work will directly support the success of high-impact instructional systems. Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), you will drive the design and development of courseware, ensuring alignment with the Department of Defense's (DoD) Instructional Systems Design (ISD) processes. Your contributions will shape the future of military training by creating effective learning solutions.

Pay: $110,000 - $130,000

Essential Duties

Instructional Design & Courseware Development



  • Apply the ADDIE Instructional Model to research and implement sound instructional design practices.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to extract key content and develop effective learning objectives, evaluations, and course materials.
  • Create instructional lesson plans, student handbooks, and evaluations to ensure comprehensive training solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally to meet production, quality, and scheduling requirements.


Team Collaboration & Communication



  • Interface with both contractor and government personnel, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of training objectives.
  • Prepare written and oral reports for contractor management and government representatives.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements within the ISD team.


Documentation & Compliance



  • Ensure training materials adhere to DoD-mandated ISD processes and industry standards.
  • Collaborate on the creation and submission of required training documentation, such as Course Conduct Information Packages and Test Packages.


Required Qualifications



  • 3-10 years of experience in ISD and/or courseware development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Experience with military technical writing and documentation.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA) or System Training Plans (STP).
  • Familiarity with ADVISOR training management system.
  • Experience developing Level 3 and 4 interactive courseware (ICW).
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Previous work with United States Space Forces (USSF) instructional content.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and analysis processes.


Education & Certification



  • 10-15 years of experience in complex systems analysis or related technical work, or
  • M.A. or M.S. degree may substitute for 5 years of work experience; PhD or EdD for 10 years of experience.


Required Clearance



  • Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.


Work Environment



  • Standard office working conditions.


Travel



  • 10% travel required.
