300 SECOND AVE, LONG BRANCH, NJ 07740 Job Overview: The Assistant Program Director is responsible for onsite and hybrid instruction, course development, and course coordination in specific disciplines to include lecture and student laboratory. They also develop and revise the clinical practice courses in their specific discipline to ensure continuity of instruction from the didactic to the clinical component and participate in student monitoring at the clinical sites. Additional faculty responsibilities include curriculum development, student evaluation, student advisement and counseling, participation in program policy development and program evaluation activities, organization service (participation in program, department, and hospital committees) and professional service. The Assistant Program Director is responsible to assist the Program Director with selected administrative duties, including didactic course scheduling, student orientation, student advisement, student recruitment and admissions, visit clinical sites, co-chairing the Program Advisory Curriculum Committee (PAC) with the Program Director, and participation on the Program and Curriculum Assessment Committee, recommending new academic affiliations, devising and/or renewing affiliation agreements.
