Overview:

Sentara health is now hiring a Scrum Master to join our team!

This is a Full -time Remote position.

Coordinate and monitor the scrum process from initiation through delivery. Serve as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals. Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree or Certification
    0-2 years of relevant experience with a degree
    3 years of relevant experience without a degree
Certification/Licensure
  • CSM/PSM/ SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)/ CSP-SM Preferred
Experience
  • Proven experience coordinating and monitoring the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between product owners, development teams, and management to ensure alignment on goals and requirements.
  • Experience ensuring team understanding of project objectives and supporting clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Strong background in identifying and removing impediments that impact sprint progress and team performance.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on flexibility and adaptability in response to change.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$69,867.20-$116,438.40Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
