Location: Fully Remote Cannot be located in CA - Equipment provided Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm PST/MST/CST/EST Duration: Long term, direct hire! Description Reviews inquiries received from Congressional offices and other priority avenues for correspondence, to include the White House, VA leadership and the VA Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs (OCLA), DOD/DHA leadership and the DOD Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs (OCLA), research and compiles facts, tracks progress, and develops timely written responses to priority correspondence received by the Congressional Relations department. Interfaces with Congressional staffers, Veterans, providers, VA and DOD staff at all levels and internal staff to resolve priority correspondence on VA and DOD contracts Qualifications Required** * Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Social Work or related field. * One year's experience in Government and/or Congressional Relations at the Federal or state level. * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Preferred - Experience with/knowledge of the VA CCN program, DOD TRICARE program, healthcare, or military Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45164.00 - $61335.00/yr. employee gathering Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Retirement Planning Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Leave (PSL) Paid Volunteer Time Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Recognition Program Wellness Program Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
