Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Surveillance:

Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to detect any suspicious activities.
Perform regular security patrols of the premises to ensure no unauthorized individuals are on-site.
Respond to alarms or alerts in a timely manner.

Access Control:

Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
Screen bags, packages, or other items to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Maintain and enforce access control policies for authorized personnel.

Incident Response:

Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or potential threats.
Assist in evacuations and provide first aid when necessary.
Report any suspicious activities, accidents, or security breaches.

Reporting and Documentation:

Write detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
Document and file daily activity reports and incident logs.
Provide recommendations to improve security measures.

Customer Service:

Assist employees, visitors, and clients with directions, queries, and other needs while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Resolve minor disputes and conflicts in a calm and diplomatic manner.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other security personnel, management, and local law enforcement.
Attend training sessions to stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and technology.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a degree or certification in security).
Proven experience as a security guard or agent is preferred.
Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods or patrol large areas.
A valid security certification or license (varies by location).
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Work Conditions:
Work may involve irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
May be required to stand or walk for long periods.
Some positions may require the use of protective equipment or uniforms.
