Responsibilities

  • Supports Physical Therapists in providing treatments to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage physical disabilities.
  • Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT, implementing prescribed treatment plans and monitoring patient progress.
  • Provide and document patient care
  • Provide and document physical therapy treatment to patients
  • Supervise assigned staff
  • Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals
  • Individuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.

  • Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Previous acute care, rehab, or outpatient experience.
