Position Summary

The Clinical Law Program at the UNM School of Law is a
law firm where advanced law students represent real-world clients under the
supervision of School of Law faculty. We are looking for a customer-oriented
individual with computer skills to join our law firm's admin support team. The
primary role of this position will be to maintain a professional and welcoming
front desk environment while performing a variety of administrative duties that
contribute to the efficiency of the office. The successful candidate will exhibit
professionalism and top-notch organizational skills. The ability to communicate
in conversational Spanish is highly preferred. If you are interested in working with law
students and a diverse clientele, we want to hear from you!

This is a 3-month temporary assignment with the potential to become a regular full-time position after three months.

Conditions of Employment
  • If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.


Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365
  • Experience with general office procedures and equipment
  • Demonstrated experience handling confidential information
  • Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish
