Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Analyst.
In this role, the successful candidate as the Business Analyst will collaborate with Payroll, MCIT, and Human Resources teams to ensure that UKG Pro and Finance Salesforce technology enhancements and upgrades are optimized to meet the needs of all employees across the organization. The Business Analyst develops and administers various training programs to promote the best practices and compliance with institutional policies as it relates to the enterprise timekeeping application, UKG Pro. Additionally, the Business Analyst supports the documentation, testing and training of Finance Salesforce enhancements for the UKG Training and Support Helpdesk and Finance Helpdesk.
The Business Analyst will identify opportunities to improve existing policies and procedures, and business processes. Assists with administration of and participates in continuous improvement activities. Assists with developing and executing test scripts. Analyze the end-user impact of all change requests or enhancements. Identify opportunities across NYU Langone Healths business and departments and implement process or procedural improvements to create efficiency and high end-user satisfaction.
The incumbent must possess advanced Excel skills and experienc in content creation. Proficiency in Camtasia, Audiate, Articulate 360, or equivalent software is also required for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Training and Development
- Assist in developing and executing financial system test scripts for UKG Pro and Finance-Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Payroll and IT teams to document and evaluate test results.
- Analyze the end-user impact of all change requests or enhancements.
- Identify training and development needs through job analysis, research, and consultation with finance management and end users.
- Conduct data analyses to identify problematic areas and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop, review, document, and update policies and procedures related to financial activities.
- Amend and revise programs as necessary to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Create and compile training materials and manuals.
- Design, develop, and modify training programs, including video courses.
- Work with teams to produce appropriate and effective training programs for all relevant parties in the division.
- Engage and document thoroughly and accurately in-bound correspondence in Salesforce.
- Assist Senior Business Analyst with creating and distributing end-user communications related to UKG Pro and Finance-Salesforce.
- Administer and assist with training initiatives.
Project Management
- Document defects, enhancements, and requests for UKG Pro and Finance-Salesforce.
- Lead status calls to track project progress and ensure deliverables are met.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Provide updates on open items.
- Create and deliver engaging PowerPoint presentations for leadership, effectively communicating key insights, project updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Perform reporting and analytics as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor degree in business, finance, IT, or healthcare related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business process analysis, financial or data analysis, or related tasks.
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with UKG Pro Workforce Management, Salesforce, Tableau, PeopleSoft, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in content creation
Proficiency in Camtasia, Audiate, Articulate 360, or equivalent software

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $80,337.40 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
