Application Window Open date: March 29, 2025 Next review date: Sunday, Apr 13, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Center for the Built Environment (CBE) at the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking an Assistant Professional Researcher to lead research on indoor air quality, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building performance simulations, occupancy detection, and plug load management. This team member will work in collaboration with leading research and advocacy organizations to advance knowledge in this field. This research will also be done in partnership with CBE's consortium of 50 partner organizations, a diverse group of industry leaders that represent the breadth of the building sector. The Professional Research series is for career academic appointees who focus on independent and creative research activity of high quality at the equivalent to that expected of the Professor series.
