Job Overview:


Ingersoll Rand is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of North America Process Improvement & Compliance Leader. The candidate will be responsible for developing and establishing enhanced standard work and continuous improvement of daily operational processes while promoting a compliance culture within the North America commercial organization. The candidate will succeed by providing expert guidance, leadership, and process management in order to ensure strong internal controls throughout the organization to achieve objectives in the following categories:


  • Effectiveness and efficiency of operations


  • Reliability of financial reporting


  • Compliance within the NA Commercial organization




Continuous Improvement - The Process Improvement & Compliance Leader is responsible for driving enhancements to the CSS commercial organization by guiding the development and sustainability of operational duties. This role will coordinate continuous improvement activities for all North America commercial organization groups while collaborating with operations, other business leaders, and information technology teams to ensure consistent / holistic solutions, that will be identified and executed to improve processes while enabling greater adherence to policies, standards, and controls.
Communications - This role will also promote process and controls awareness within the sales and service locations. Develop, deploy and manage an effective communications and visual management strategy for compliance, ensuring consistency throughout all locations. Communications management entails design and daily management of all communications tools to include SharePoint or other visual management tools.


This position will work closely with Area Service Leaders, Area Operations Leaders, Area Specialists and other business leaders.

Responsibilities:



  • Ability to influence others and communicate with all levels of an organization and manage conflicting goals


  • Thorough understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement (CI), Six Sigma and/or other similar concepts. Previous experience with the mapping, redesign, and improvement of customer facing processes.


  • Strong knowledge of business operations and related issues is critical


  • Must have excellent project and program management skills focused on overseeing resources, timelines, budgets and project deliverables.


  • Drive to design and implement change.


  • Proven ability to quickly learn all aspects of technical software products


  • High ethical standards




Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree


  • 5+ years' experience in a matrix organization.

Preferences:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.



  • Must possess recognizable and demonstrable leadership skills, having the ability to inspire individuals to take pride in their work, perform in a team environment and achieve daily production goals



  • Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating



  • Must be computer proficient, including Microsoft Windows and Office software applications



  • Familiar with, lean practices, and maintains 5S standards in the workplace






Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements?


  • This position will be based at our corporate offices in Davidson, NC, with travel 25% of time
