The Kim Lab at the Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology Department of the University of California, Santa Cruz is excited to announce the availability of NIH-funded postdoctoral research fellowships, funded by the BRAIN Initiative and other R01s. We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree to join our innovative and stimulating research group.

Our lab aims to uncover the fundamental principles of neural circuit formation and its impact on animal perception and behavior. We take a multidisciplinary approach by combining cutting-edge technologies such as engineering novel neural circuit tracing systems, utilizing next-generation trans-synaptic viral tracers, mouse genetics, single-cell genome-wide sequencing, and in vivo imaging.

We offer you exceptional research opportunities to take your scientific career to the next level, as well as strong academic interactions and collaborations across UCSC's top-tier neuroscience and molecular biology labs, and beyond. To learn more, visit our website at http://www.ejkimlab.com/.

The University of California, Santa Cruz is a prestigious institution within the UC system, with a world-renowned Genomics Institute and exceptional neuroscience and molecular biology labs.
