Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, early career Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Environmental Engineer to join our team in our Warwick, RI office. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates with a passion for environmental science and consulting.

The early career Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Environmental Engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary team on a wide range of environmental projects, including soil, sediment, and groundwater investigations. Candidates will also actively participate in other projects related to coastal resilience, due diligence, and other environmental efforts that align with their respective courses of study.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing field sampling activities related to soil, sediment, and groundwater investigations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary environmental projects, including those related to coastal resiliency, watershed planning, habitat assessments, and NEPA environmental assessments.
  • Participate in remedial investigations and remediation efforts on contaminated sites.
  • Contribute to the development of project work plans, technical reports and other project documentation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of environmental practices and standards while gaining hands-on experience in the field.


Required Qualifications

  • S. degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with environmental practices and an interest in pursuing a career in environmental consulting.
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to think critically and problem-solve.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Desired Qualifications


  • Experience with fieldwork is a plus but not required.



Drug Screen Statement

Pay Range

$52,000 - $60,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
