JOB OVERVIEW: Join our team as a Service Technician, providing repair service for equipment at practitioners' locations under the guidance of a Lead Technician or District Service Manager. Collaborate closely with skilled technicians and supervisors to enhance your customer service skills, familiarize yourself with our support tools, and improve your troubleshooting techniques and product knowledge. This role will contribute significantly to service success, enhancing customer satisfaction, fostering customer loyalty, and boosting profitability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Offer repair services to customers in a respectful and professional manner. You may also occasionally provide basic installation services as needed. COMPLEXITY: Work on problems of limited scope and impact with no to limited discretion to vary from established procedures. Perform structured work assignments using existing procedures to solve the most routine problems. Follow standard practices and existing procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Begin building working relationships internally and externally. WORK EXPERIENCE: Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of field service experience, demonstrating proficiency, a basic mechanical background, and customer service skills. PREFERRED EDUCATION: We typically look for candidates with High School education, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training. However, an Associate degree or Technical School Certification is preferred. GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Basic troubleshooting skills SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: - Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role will require you to deliver, install, and repair equipment at Henry Schein customers' locations. Expect to handle large equipment as needed. The physical demands of this position may occasionally require significant and/or repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing of ladders.
