  • Base Pay Range:$22.00 to $34.74 per hour, based on experience.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION



  1. Capable of operating computer systems including but not limited to : Building Automation Systemsoftware (BAS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  2. Installs, programs and maintains Application Specific and Network Controllers based on manufacturerrecommendations and accepted trade standards.
  3. Expands and maintains detailed documentation of systems.
  4. Works alongside IT and vendors to set up, install and maintain network servers.
  5. Creates andmodifies system graphics.
  6. Troubleshoots BAS communication network faults with industry standard analyzing equipment.
  7. Reviewsproject drawings, makes recommendations and represents MUHC in planning meetings.
  8. Performs andrecommends preventive maintenance on BAS components.
  9. Creates and implements control strategies for complex building systems.
  10. Performs assessments andestimates on jobs including detailed reports.
  11. Evaluates, recommends and implements enhancements to BAS networks across MUHC facilities.
  12. Createsand executes fault detection to automate the analysis and reporting of system function.
  13. Develops and implements solutions to manage energy usage and optimize system performance.
  14. Maycomplete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Demonstrates competence in computer programming Application Specific Devices.
  • Demonstrates successful execution of projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Five (5) years actual work experience and training, including the equivalent of associate's degree,apprenticeship, or vocational training in the field of Electronics/Programming/Networking, in ahealthcare or industrial setting with building controls.
  • Demonstrates competence in use of trade related tools, meters, equipment and materials.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, and thirty (30) days grace to obtain Missouri driver'slicense for Missouri residents.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data related to traderesponsibilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor'sof Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated computer networking experience.
  • Information Technology experience and training.
  • Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys programming and graphics. Experience with Siemens Apogeeprogramming and graphics.
  • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
