The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Data Operations team. IMS's primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients' investment funds. As a data analyst, you will serve as a dedicated resource to assist with internal and external client data support.

What you will do:

  • As a data analyst, you will be the liaison between Operations, Solutions, Product and Development teams, working closely to identify, develop, and implement product and technology-based solutions to increase efficiency, improve data quality, and mitigate the risk that can emanate from data issues.
  • You will be a contributing member of a team responsible for daily data pipeline oversight processes to ensure our client's data is delivered reliably, accurately, and comprehensively.
  • You'll be documenting and implementing business and functional requirements.
  • You will be responsible for developing an understanding financial accounting data content and workflows.
  • You will be expected to maintain a general understanding of our various businesses, client businesses and financial services generally.
  • You will document UAT/acceptance test cases and Perform UAT/acceptance testing.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or applicable experience.
  • Comfort with querying and analyzing large data sets with SQL and/or other languages and tools.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting data domains.
  • Financial Services experience, preferably FinTech experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management.
  • A working understanding of Agile and Iterative development methodologies.
  • Experience with software development management/tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to thrive in a project-based environment within a lean team.
