What you'll do

What does your team do? The Materials Team is responsible for the management of inventory process controls to ensure cost, schedule, and quality goals are met in the execution of global fulfilment contractual requirements.

What opportunities does being a part of this team expose the candidate to? Collaboration with creative and dynamic cross-functional teams and fingerprints on the success of our antenna systems organization.

How will the candidate use the skills in your Responsibilities and Preferences sections to do the job? Experience in physical inventory maintenance and ERP systems will help align your daily work with company priorities and coordinate the flow of materials with multiple groups as you work to meet our internal and external customer requests in the most efficient way possible.

The day-to-day

What's the day-to-day like for this candidate?

  • Perform cycle counting
  • Inbounding materials from receiving to stockroom locators
  • Causative research of inventory variances
  • Process material sourcing requests via electronic templates or mobile directed picking methodologies on RF scanners.
  • Support customer and organic system shipment requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement projects, interfacing with key stakeholders throughout the company to assist in providing inputs to our inventory management system and evaluate it for improvement opportunities.

What you'll need

  • 3+ years' experience in material control and physical inventory maintenance.
  • Experience with warehouse inventory stocking, receipt processing and consumption practices in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating powered industrialized trucks (forklifts and reach lifts).
  • Experience using Oracle, SAP or comparable ERP Inventory and Manufacturing modules.
  • Proficient with Hazardous Material handling and storage.
  • Prominent level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team member to meet goals while maintaining an organized and systematic approach to task completion.
  • High School Diploma.

What will help you on the job

  • Experience with cycle counting processes and variance resolution.
  • Experience managing inventory with projectized data.
  • Experience managing inventory on Government contracts.
  • Proficient in receipt and handling ESD/MSD sensitive materials.
  • Experience and/or exposure to continuous process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Salary range

$18.75 - $29.33 / hourly.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $24.52 - $37.02/ hourly
