STS Line Maintenance is now hiring A&P Mechanics to join our growing line maintenance station in Tampa, Florida. If you're passionate about aircraft maintenance and ready to work with one of the nation's leading providers of line maintenance services, we want to hear from you.



  • Pay: $32 - $40 per hour (Based on experience)
  • Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available
  • Location: Tampa, Florida

Position Summary

As an A&P Maintenance Technician with STS Line Maintenance, you'll support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our airline partners. You'll ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards while delivering a high level of safety, quality, and service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on Airbus A320 aircraft
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and company procedures
  • Follow maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical data to repair or replace defective components
  • Use precision tools to inspect parts for wear and complete repairs accordingly
  • Collaborate with Flight Crews, Maintenance Controllers, and Station Leads to ensure operational readiness
  • Complete and maintain detailed documentation of all work performed
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications
  • Must provide own standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tools provided)
  • Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted, climb ladders, and work standing for extended periods
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, background check, and obtain Customs & Border Patrol clearance
  • Basic to mid-level computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on turbine-powered aircraft
  • Background with commercial or large regional aircraft
  • Previous work under FAA Part 145 or Part 135 repair stations
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license a plus
  • Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $32-$40 DOE
  • Bonuses: Available based on experience
  • Annual Raises: Offered based on performance evaluations
