Job Summary

Responsible for the management of course, room, and space scheduling for the College of Business. Assists with the coordination and management of faculty workloads and responsible for the overseeing of cash functions for the College of Business.

  • Manages all internal and external space and scheduling requirements for all undergraduate and graduate programs of the COB, including but not limited to optimizing classroom space and managing the study room request process.
  • Coordinates, maintains, and ensures the accuracy of the COB Course Scheduling System and Campus Solutions System with the assistance of the COB Technology Center by inputting section additions, updates, and cancellations as applicable.
  • Optimizes section enrollments and space availability utilization by monitoring variations across academic years through the use of reports and data analysis comparing past academic years to present/future academic years. Coordinates with other units in the event sizable variations are detected between academic years. Availability utilization.
  • Supervises personnel on the managing of the 25Live, EMS and the Locknetic system.
  • Manages the time line for planning of future academic years. Sets deadlines for departmental changes in COB Course Scheduling System for present academic year.
  • Responsible for the timely processing of section changes, room requests and other space/scheduling requirements, and a template per semester of COB Priority rooms in coordination with the Office of Class Management Department to assure accurate course offerings and room reservations
  • Serves as a liaison for the University College for the undergraduate and graduate Tuition-Plus and Added-Value programs.
  • Provides secondary support to the Associate Director for grant-related items, such as transfers, verifying effort reporting certification and other administrative matters when necessary.
  • Responsible for working with Office of Class Management on the final exam schedule.
  • Works with the departments on instructor hybrid certification and credentialing.
  • Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, storms, and/or any other university emergency closing. The employee is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification of a department administrator.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree.
