Position Summary:
|
The ideal candidate will be highly flexible and adaptive. The candidate must be able to learn and assimilate new ideas quickly. The candidate must have strong technological, communication and organizational skills. This position may also include working to help update the database, perform genealogy research, make family connections, verify deceased information, attach historical research to donor records, various data entry projects, and other research assignments as it relates to the current donors and potential donors of Yeshiva University. Position Responsibilities:
|
- Assist the Institutional Advancement department with various research, clerical duties and computer work including but not limited to:
- Preparing and completing mailing
- Assist with special events, programs and stewardship efforts as needed
- Create blog posts about current students, faculty, events happening within the school, and on current trends within the various majors
- Posting on social media
- Enter data into database
- Attach research and news articles from shared drive to database
- Use subscription services to uncover new information
- Find obituaries
- Identify family members and other connections
- Email updates to other staff members
- Update employment information for alumni and other constituents

Experience & Educational Background:
|
- Must be a Yeshiva University student
|
Skills & Competencies:

- Responsible and dependable
- Strong written and oral communication
- Curious learner
- Attention to detail
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
