First Citizens Bank is looking for a Senior Product Portfolio Lead for Security Architecture and Identity & Access Management. This will be a critical role within First Citizen's Enterprise Cyber Security Office (ECSO) and will be a member of the ECSO Strategy, Execution, and Enablement (SEE) team, which is responsible for developing the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and overseeing and enabling the execution of that strategy. This individual contributor role will be critical to overseeing and enabling the design and implementation of our Security Architecture, Enterprise IAM and Customer IAM delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of Security Architecture and Identity & Access Management Agile Product Delivery Methodology and Operating Frameworks. Utilize feedback and metrics to guide continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to help shape a comprehensive, scalable long-term Security Architecture & IAM strategy and roadmap. Oversee portfolio planning including the creation of business cases, value propositions, tooling strategies and consolidations, dependency mapping, and resource planning. Define the vision and roadmap for the portfolio, defining and prioritizing the features/epics in the program backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and development teams.
  • Oversee the execution of the Security Architecture & IAM Agile Product Delivery Strategy and roadmap for all portfolio functions including:
    • Security Architecture
    • Secuirty Assurance
    • Enterpise and Customer IAM including:
      • Identity & Access Enforcement (IAE)
      • Identity Governance & Administrative (IGA)
      • Priviledged Access Managmeent (PAM)
      • Identity Defense and Monitoring (IDM)
  • Develop and maintain executive reporting including regulatory and execution milestone mapping, sequencing and dependency mapping. Communicate program vision, mission, and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners, and teams.
  • Build strong relationships with all levels of the organization, external stakeholders, and partners to execute the strategy. Work with Product Owners to connect the strategy to deliverables, epics, and stories.
  • Collaborate with the Product Portfolio Executive on Financials throughout delivery to help identify and define strategic cost saving opportunities. Help communicating product business investment value to product owners, external stakeholders, customers, and lines of business.
  • Support and guide a multi-year transition from Waterfall to Agile and mentor team members to foster a collaborative and Security-Knowledgeable environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience at an Enterprise-level for IAM, Product Management and/or related field.
  • Certifications in PMP, Agile Program Management and Certified Scrum Master preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Security Architecture and IAM concepts, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Experience developing and working in agile methodologies and product management matched by a track record of driving successful transformation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit that enables you to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and communicate product vision, strategy, progress and gather feedback to drive capability improvements.
  • Strategic planning and execution, with a talent for turning complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to use data-driven metrics to communicate change and risk reduction.
  • Large Financial Institution (LFI) experience
