The MH Weight Management Clinical Manager will oversee the daily clinical operations of a dynamic ambulatory practice environment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently at our South Portland and Kennebunk locations, in a triad leadership structure with the practice managers at Kennebunk and South Portland. With a team of dedicated clinical staff, the clinical manager fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where experience, expertise and a positive attitude are highly valued. The job involves collaborating with providers and leaders, managing staff schedules, developing clinical workflows and protocols, and troubleshooting any issues that arise, all while maintaining an approachable atmosphere. The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, three or more years of managerial experience and hold a BSN. This position is Monday-Friday, 40hours a week.

Summary:
The Manager - Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the clinical department, including clinical services and staffing needs. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical workflow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. The Clinical Manager will work with physicians, midlevel providers and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each practice location.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree in nursing required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine RN license required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Five years of experience in the nursing field required. Supervisory experience preferred.
