Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of a Security Site Supervisor.

Security Site Supervisor wanted to support a Global Company's Headquarter campus site.

The Site Supervisor will have in-depth knowledge of physical security and supporting systems. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in guard services and related operations. The role will require successfully managing day-to-day security staffing; key customer onsite and offsite security engagement & event support; and administrative as well as operational supervision for security operations.

Key functions of the Site Supervisor:

1. Serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality security services for the site; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.

2. Plans, develops, and implements security post-orders to meet all associated operations, resourcing and staffing needs, while coordinating with internal and external security partners; addresses any actual or potential security risks; supports operational event planning and risk assessments.

3. Coordinates with client security management, and participates in the recruitment, orientation and professional development of high caliber contracted staff assigned to the account; plans, assigns, and directs work.

4. Managing client security processes and compliance, including administering training, coordinating drills, completing security audits, and submitting incident and investigative reports; supervises the contractor employees and carries out disciplinary actions, as necessary.

5. Within scope of client contract and assigned duties, authorizes appropriate expenditures including equipment, supplies, and vehicles; acts to ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and administers driver training; acts to ensure that there is an adequate inventory of uniforms, and other supplies and equipment; maintains and submits administrative records and reports.

6. Prepares and coordinates staffing schedules for site, in collaboration with security management as necessary; acts to ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs; reviews Security Officer site reports to verify post orders and client directives have been satisfactorily followed.

7. Provides input to assigned projects and tasks (i.e., Brass Key Management, Active Access Control, Physical Security CCTV/Alarm Management etc..) establishes and tracks project milestones and deliverables while sustaining optimal security service suport with company associates and key stakeholders.

8. Manages and triages security incident reporting and response to resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    Associated Arts degree with emphasis in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management or similar physical security professional certification.
  • 7 + years of experience with progressive supervisory roles overseeing security operations, ideally with corporate security or with local, state, or a federal law enforcement/military security team.
  • Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Capably utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
  • Enforce Contract Standards
  • Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers including vehicle / driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures
  • Prepared to participate in unemployment hearings
  • Enforces Allied Universal's policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
