About the Role

Culmen International is looking for Project Analysts for an upcoming Department of Justice opportunity supporting the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces Program.

The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Program was established in 1982 as a collaborative national initiative involving multiple agencies. Its primary aim is to conduct thorough, intelligence-driven investigations into significant criminal organizations engaged in drug trafficking and the laundering of illicit proceeds. The OCDETF Program serves as a cornerstone of the Department of Justice's counternarcotics strategy, utilizing prosecutor-led, multi-agency task forces to address the challenges posed by prominent drug cartels. The overarching mission of the OCDETF Program is to reduce the availability of illegal drugs within the United States while also mitigating the violence and other criminal activities that frequently accompany the drug trade.

Transforms data for integration into databases, spreadsheets, and graphical presentation programs, while also creating comprehensive output reports, summary tables, graphs, and charts.
Undertakes special studies, research, and evaluation activities to provide valuable insights to management. Designs and crafts PowerPoint presentations and graphics tailored for managerial needs.
Acts as a technical resource on federal, state, and local crime and caseload statistics, as well as other criminal justice data and policy issues.
